Frequently Asked Questions:
1. What should I wear?
Wear what you feel great in -- casual or formal. Solid colors work best. Avoid busy patterns, as they distract from your face. Some poses are close up and others are full-length. Plan complete outfits, including shoes. As a general rule, darker clothes are slenderizing. Baggy clothes can make you look bigger than you are. Sleeveless shirts make your ares look fuller. V-necks are always flattering. Wear a dark shirt under a dark suit. A white shirt under a dark suit stands out in the photo.
2. How should I wear my hair?
Avoid changing your hairstyle or cutting your hair right before your session. Your photographer will help you identify improperly placed hair, but make sure to let your photographer know your preferences.
3. Can I wear jewelry or accessories?
Wear your special hats and/or jewelry: necklaces, rings, bracelets, etc. Mention that you would like these featured to your photographer.
4. How should I do my make-up?
Apply make-up as you would for an evening out. Pay special attention to your eyes; the focal point in a portrait. An extra coat of mascara can help bring out your eyes. Bring lipstick and powder for touch-ups.
5. Can I wear my glasses?
If you wear them all the time, you will want them in your portrait.
6. Do you offer photo re-touching?
Portrait retouching is available to soften facial lines and correct blemishes, scratches and scars. The studio can also whiten teeth and eyes.
7. Will I get a reminder about my session?
Yes, you can receive an email reminder if you supply your email address when registering for a photo session.
8. If I want to buy photos from my session, how much will they cost?
